Public verification

Emin Scan

Concept

A concept for a block explorer, so that a transaction, a validator or a balance can be checked by anyone without asking the project to confirm it happened.

What it is meant to do

Independent of our own claims

The reason an explorer matters is that it lets a reader stop taking the project's word for what occurred on the network — including this project's.

01

Built for auditors, not just holders

The intended audience includes compliance teams and researchers who need to verify activity systematically, not only individual users checking a balance.

02

No login required

Public chain data is intended to be queryable without an account, consistent with the project holding no more authority over the record than any other observer.

03

Downstream of the network, not ahead of it

An explorer without a network to explore is a static page. This one is sequenced deliberately after the settlement layer, not before it.

04

Not yet true

Stated plainly, not hedged

  • There is no network yet, so there is nothing to explore
  • No explorer software has been written
  • No API or data export exists

What has to happen first

A running network with real activity on it — everything else follows from that.
